We offer face to face, telephone or online sessions. Face to Face sessions take place at a private room in The Lamp House in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne.

There are many different therapy models and it is important to find the right one for you. The most common in the UK are Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and Integrative in which the therapist encompasses a variety of ways of working. Some are shorter term and more solution focussed, some are longer term depending on personal circumstances.

It is really common for people to feel confused about the models and unsure which one is best for them. At Therapy North we make sure we have an initial chat with you to answer any questions and discuss all the options fully so you feel comfortable to start sessions.
