Reaching out for therapy is a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel uncertain about which direction to take. My aim is to make that first step feel a little easier by offering a space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and work at a pace that feels right for you.
I’m a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a Couple Therapy for Depression clinician, and I’ve spent more than 20 years supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. As well as anxiety and depression, I also work with anger, low self-esteem and relationship challenges, and I tailor therapy to each individual or couple I meet. No two people are the same, so we’ll work together to understand what’s going on for you and what you need from therapy.
Before moving into private practice, I worked for many years in NHS Talking Therapies services, including in senior management roles. That experience has given me a deep appreciation of the pressures people face in everyday life, and it’s strengthened my commitment to safe, ethical, high‑quality care. But at the heart of my work is something simple: helping people feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply curious about how therapy might help, you’re welcome here. No issue is too small, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out. I’m here to walk alongside you, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and support you in moving towards the life you want.
