
Kay Lavery
Kay is a Child Psychotherapist with five years of practice working with children, young people and adults. She has worked in a variety of settings including primary and secondary schools, NHS children‘s mental health service, and the charity sector. Kay uses a variety of approaches to tailor the support to your needs and your ways of expressing thoughts and feelings.Putting our ’stuff’ into spoken words can be tricky sometimes. She offers talking, creative and play based therapy for children from age 5 upwards, through to adulthood. Kay has both lived and professional experience of neurodivergence and offers a safe, calm, non-judgemental space for all.
Registered with UKCP and a member of BACP, Kay is experienced in therapy supporting bereavement, grief and loss, anxiety around school, relationships, work, chronic health conditions, suicidal ideation, the impact of childhood and family trauma, and the impact and living with mental health conditions, whether this is yourself or family members.
