When life feels a lot
Life can be heavy, confusing, or just… too much sometimes.
And when that happens, it helps to have someone who listens without judging.
Some days you might want to talk. Other days you might sit quietly. You might laugh, cry, doodle, or just let things feel a bit messy. However you show up, you’re welcome here. And yes, laughter is just as welcome as tears.
My role is to offer something a little different from school or home. Somewhere your safety and wellbeing will always come first - a space that belongs to you.

A space that’s yours
I‘m Aneeba, a therapist in training working towards a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy. As a student member of the BACP, I’ve spent hundreds of hours supporting children and young people through challenges such as grief, emotional dysregulation, phobias, and anxiety.
I take an integrative approach, blending different skills and techniques to fit what you need. Being trauma-informed, I focus on really being present with you in every session, creating a safe and supportive space. I’m passionate about learning and fine-tuning my skills with every session, so we can make real, meaningful progress together.
Because I came into this work early, I bring a perspective that often feels closer to the post-digital era young people live in now - the language, the pressures, and the way things can feel unattainable.

Why this work matters to me
I knew from an early age that I wanted to create the kind of space I didn’t always see growing up. Being Muslim, brown, and neurodivergent taught me what it’s like to feel different - and how powerful it is when someone meets you with empathy instead of expectation.
That’s why empathy, openness, and honesty are at the heart of how I work.
⸻
Being human, together
Therapy isn’t about me having all the answers. It’s about seeing life from your perspective, and walking alongside you so you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Reaching out can be the first step - together, we can slow things down and make space for you.
