About Me

I am a UK- and Europe-accredited EMDR practitioner and a registered Mental Health Nurse with over 10 years of post-qualification experience working with individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.

In my current NHS role, I work across community and health psychology services My main areas of interest include PTSD, complex PTSD, and anger-related difficulties. I have a particular interest in supporting women who have experienced health complications or medical trauma, helping them process and recover from these often-overlooked experiences.

Those I have worked with frequently describe me as empathic, intuitive, and non-judgemental in my approach. I aim to create a safe, collaborative therapeutic space where you can feel heard and supported as you work through what’s been holding you back.

My Approach

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is the main therapeutic approach I use. EMDR is a NICE-recommended treatment for trauma, though we understand ‘trauma’ in a broad sense—essentially, anything that continues to trouble you or feels unresolved. Together, we’ll work to make sense of these experiences, reduce their emotional impact, and help you move forward with greater confidence and calm.

If you would like to discuss your therapy needs with me, I can offer a free 20 minute phone call.
