Does life sometimes feel overwhelming? You may find yourself struggling in your relationships, feeling unheard, or questioning whether the path you’re on is truly right for you. At times, it might just feel like something is “off,” even if you can’t quite put your finger on why. These experiences can be unsettling, and it’s natural to feel unsure about where to turn.

Counselling offers a space away from the pressures of daily life, a place to pause, reflect, and make sense of what you’re going through. Together, we can explore your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.

My path to becoming a counsellor grew out of my own struggles with depression and a wish to better understand myself, others, and the world around me. My own experience of therapy has been life changing and I feel privileged to support my clients as they navigate their own journeys toward healing and meaningful change. I believe deeply that every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and live in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling.

I work with adults from all walks of life who may be facing a wide range of challenges. This might include anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, struggles with self-esteem, or the impact of past experiences and trauma. I also support people through times of transition, when life feels uncertain or change feels difficult to manage. Whatever has brought you to therapy, we can explore it together in a safe and supportive space.

I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, with core training in Transactional Analysis. My approach is person-centred, meaning the client is at the centre of the work. I also draw upon my Fine Art background to work creatively where helpful, opening up new ways of expressing and understanding your experiences.
I trained at the Northern Guild and have since been working within primary care and charitable settings. I am a registered member of the BACP and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s normal to wonder what to expect. To help, I offer a free 20-minute phone call where you can ask questions and get a sense of how we might work together.

My availability is Monday (afternoon and evening) and Tuesday (morning and afternoon).
