There are times when life situations become difficult and a more than a chat with family and friends is needed to give you clarity. If you’ve decided you need professional help to improve your mental health and wellbeing, this will be a daunting time for you and thank you for visiting my profile, on your step to finding the right counsellor to fit you.

As a counsellor I have experience in working with adults, children and students with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, anger management, relationship issues, bereavement, pain management, low self-esteem and anybody who is facing challenging circumstances. I use integrated counselling to find a method that works for each client and my ethos is to build a trusting relationship, holding empathy and listening without judgement with every client, giving them the space to be heard, in a safe confidential environment.

After many years in a commercial career, I followed my dream of becoming a counsellor and changed direction to take the relevant qualifications. My experience, combined with my years of studying counselling, gives me an awareness of many situations brought into the room. I have the ability to help and understand clients, when providing a listening ear to support them to gain coping mechanisms and make positive changes to their lives.

I have a naturally friendly personality and if you need to talk openly, with a person you can trust, or to find some clarification to strengthen your psychological wellbeing, then please contact me and we can schedule an appointment to chat and see how we get on.

My Qualifications include Counselling skills level 3 Diploma, CertHE Counselling Skills and Therapeutic Communication, FdSc Counselling and Therapeutic Communication, working towards BSc (Hons) Counselling Skills and Therapeutic Communication, Together with NCFE qualifications in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent and Understanding Domestic Abuse. I also have a First Aid Mental Health in the Workplace qualification and Applied Suicide Interventions Training.
