You might be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply aware that something in your life needs attention. Whatever has brought you here, I offer a steady, thoughtful space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard.
I’m a BACP-registered counsellor working in private practice and agency settings, offering both in-person and online sessions. My approach is integrative, grounded in person-centred therapy. This means I focus first and foremost on building a safe, collaborative relationship, and then draw on approaches such as CBT and Transactional Analysis where they are helpful.
I believe therapy isn’t about being “fixed” - it’s about understanding yourself more clearly, developing self-trust, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. Some people come with a specific issue they want to work through; others arrive with a general sense of dissatisfaction or confusion. Both are welcome.
I work with issues including anxiety, stress, low mood, identity, self-esteem, life transitions and relationship challenges. Whether you’re looking for short-term, focused work or longer-term exploration, we can think together about what feels most helpful for you.
Alongside my counselling work, I have a background in design and the creative industries, as well as postgraduate training in positive psychology and coaching. This gives me a practical, grounded perspective and an appreciation of the pressures many people experience in work, relationships and modern life. I also founded a local men’s mental health walk-and-talk group, creating space for more open and supportive conversations.
If you’re considering therapy, you’re welcome to get in touch to arrange a free 20-minute introductory call and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
