Sarah Smith
I am a warm and approachable therapist with a deep compassion for the many challenges that come with being human. In a world that’s constantly changing, it’s easy to feel stretched thin, whether in your health, work, relationships, or sense of self. I offer a non-judgemental space where you can pause, reflect, and explore what’s going on for you. Whether you’re seeking confidence, connection, or more clarity, I am here to support you. My aim is to help you move from just getting through the days to feeling more grounded and fully alive in them.
I use an integrative approach, blending techniques to meet your specific needs. While I don’t claim to have all the answers; my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, gentle curiosity and the occasional touch of humour. I’ll offer guidance (or nudge you out of your comfort zone) when needed, but ultimately, this is your journey. Whether you’re looking for short-term, solution-focused support or a space to explore deeper patterns and past experiences, I honour your autonomy at every step.
I work with adults (18+) experiencing a wide range of concerns, including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, loneliness, self-esteem issues, trauma, family dynamics, stress, career difficulties, illness, ageing and personal growth. With experience as both a therapist and a former educator, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Whatever you’re facing, I’ll meet you with authenticity and respect as you take the next empowering steps towards the life you want.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a holder of a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, I am committed to providing ethical, professional, and informed support.
