Rachael Bond
Hello,
Thank you for visiting my profile. I understand that deciding to start counselling or therapy can bring about feelings of uncertainty. I will provide a calm, safe space where together, we will begin to discuss how you’re feeling.
I came to a career in counselling after my own experiences of loss, change and uncertainty. I am an Integrative Psychotherapeutic counsellor, which means that I apply a range of theoretical disciplines in my work. We will work at a pace that is right for you, on the issues that are most important to you. I have worked with people experiencing anxiety, depression and bereavement as well as those wanting to improve self esteem and self confidence. With a BSc in Psychology and Social Science, I have always been interested in societal issues, and the way that social structures can intersect with personal experiences informs my work.
I have experience of working with people with Sensory Loss, and personal experience of supporting Neurodivergent individuals.
I believe that therapy can be a healing and nurturing experience, that can lead to life long change, improved well being and resilience.
I hold a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the BACP.
