What happens after I submit my form?
Once we receive your request, one of our mental health professionals will contact you to answer any questions you may have and help you decide which type of therapist or model of therapy is right for you. You can let us know your preferred method of contact as we take confidentiality seriously.
What will happen in the first session?
At the first session your therapist will complete an informal assessment to identify what would be helpful to work on and discuss a plan for therapy. There is nothing for you to do to prepare. We want it to be a comfortable, supportive experience.
Will I have a choice of therapist?
Yes finding the right therapist is the most important part. Once we receive your referral we will suggest therapists for you and provide their profiles so you can read about their qualifications and experience.
What is the cost?
Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost varies depending on the experience of the therapist and modality you choose. They are usually weekly but flexible to fit around your needs. There is no commitment to book more than one session but we do offer discounts for booking a course of therapy. We have some limited low-cost therapy sessions available with trainees.
Can I have sessions online?
Yes you can choose to have sessions online or face to face.
