If you‘re reading this, it means you’re probably ready to take an amazing step towards increased self awareness, better coping strategies and resolve any negative lingering feelings. While I can’t promise that counselling will be the cure to all your problems, what I can do is provide a safe environment for you to explore your feelings and will use my skills to guide you along your journey. Having already qualified with a degree in Guidance and Counselling, I decided that I wanted to be able to practice as a counsellor ethically, so enrolled onto an Integrative Counselling degree at New College Durham as a trainee counsellor. Being trained in integrative counselling means I can use a combination of approaches based on your needs. My preferred approaches include person-centred, CBT and psychodynamics.
Being a younger counsellor means I understand the difficulties and stress of being a young person and young professional in todays society. My experience and passion lies in working with young people in educational, community and corporate settings to overcome personal and professional hurdles such as mental ill health, transitioning into the workplace, relationships and self worth. My mission is to help you overcome any barriers to success so you can reach your potential and thrive.
